Who we are

In this policy, “we”, “us” and “Enccii” mean the business behind enccii.com. By using this website you confirm you have read this policy.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • reply to your enquiry and set up your intro call;
  • review your ads, listings and slow months so the call is useful to you;
  • run, secure and improve this website, and block spam and abuse;
  • send you updates, but only if you subscribed or asked to hear from us; and
  • meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Where the law asks us to name a legal basis, we rely on your consent (for example, when you submit a form or subscribe), our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, steps you ask us to take before entering into an agreement, and legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

Who we share it with

We share information only with people and companies that help us run our business, and only as much as they need:

  • Service providers. We use Google services to store form submissions in a spreadsheet, send us email notifications and load website fonts. Google (Analytics) and Meta (Pixel) also receive the technical information described below. Our website is also delivered through hosting and content delivery providers. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
  • Professional advisers. Such as lawyers, accountants and insurers, where needed.
  • Authorities. Where we are required by law, or need to protect our rights or the safety of others.
  • A future owner. If Enccii is ever sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner, who must honour this policy.

Our website links to other sites, such as Instagram. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website uses the cookies and scripts it needs to work, such as those that power the menus and animations. These are always on.

We also use two analytics and advertising tools:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google) counts visits and shows which pages are read, how people reach us and what device they use. We have IP anonymisation turned on.
  • Meta Pixel (Meta) records visits so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show our ads to people who may be interested. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you.

We also use Google Search Console, which reports how our site appears in Google Search. It does not place anything on your device.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the website will still work. To opt out of Google Analytics everywhere, you can use Google’s browser add-on. Meta’s ad settings are in your Facebook or Instagram account.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond to you, work with you and keep reasonable business records. If we do not end up working together, we delete or anonymise your details after a reasonable period, and sooner if you ask us to. We may keep some records for longer where the law requires it.

How we protect it

Form submissions travel over an encrypted connection. Access to our records is limited to the people who need it, and the accounts that hold them are protected with security measures such as two-step verification. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we work to keep your information safe.

Where your information is processed

Our providers, including Google and Meta, may process information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on contracts and other safeguards to make sure your information stays protected.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example Canada, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California), you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • object to or ask us to limit how we use it;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, including unsubscribing from emails using the link in any message; and
  • complain to your local privacy regulator, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

To use any of these rights, email us at the address in section 12. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we will reply within the time the law requires.

Children

This website is for business owners and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will tell you on this website or by email if we have your address.
